Wales Rally GB
Well we made the decision to fork out £33 for a day pass to 3 stages on Friday, we set off on Thursday night and arrived at SS3 Trawscoed at 2am. We had a few beers, and woke up the forest with our 3am firework display - which we thought was quite funny until some bastard got their own back by setting off their fireworks virtually under our van at about 5am - THANKS !!!
6:30 Am and it is cold, our B&B was lacking central heating:

But Lee managed to rustle up bacon butties, very nice even though Rob forgot the ketchup:

Then the short walk to the stage, very excited at this point, the sun thawed us out a bit:

Petter was just a blur, showering us in dirt:

The arse end of a pug passes the spectator pens:

A nice sweeping right hander but not for poor old Marcus who lost his front wheel:

Anyway enough, its time to go over the Brecons to SS5 Resolven 1, and have some fun on the way:

A fantastic left hand hairpin with magical views of the Welsh valleys:

Solberg on a charge

Harri Rovanpera kicking up dirt:

Not as cool as Tommi in his golden boots

The Welsh spectators add to the atmosphere by setting fire to the forest, cool !

Evo driver looks like he had been trying a few shortcuts through the trees:

Duval goes a bit wide, typical French drivers !!

Then it was time to freeze our bollocks off at the Cardiff super special stage, it was crap for photos but here's a token one of Gwyndaf at the tunnel

So the final verdict - excellent fun, will we be back? - Oh yes but with more fireworks, more beer and some ketchup next time.
